I often hear agents yakking about choosing the perfect types of gifts to give to their client, but what about the client who can’t figure out what to get you, her agent? Do you get closing gifts? I’d venture to say and, in fact, I did say, that agents have a 1 in 10 chance of receiving a gift from a client after closing. Yet, many clients do want to say thank you and show their gratitude.
So, I came up with the Top 10 Realtor Closing Gifts. You can print out this list of types of gifts and give it to your clients in a seller or buyer package early on in the transaction. I mean, you don’t want to give the impression a gift is expected or beg for stuff. Or maybe you just want to string me up by toes and proclaim, “I am not a pullet!” Perhaps you have other ideas or suggestions of gifts that you would find welcome. Yammer away. I love input.
