Steaming hot in Sacramento, so how hot was it? Well, area reports are 106 degrees +. I had to walk a 100-acre field and almost had a heat stroke. It is a parcel just off the Jackson highway at Sloughhouse Rd. in Elk Grove. This property is in competition with my 80-acre farm just down the street.

My own dogs have evaporative AC and misters and fans on their areas. The horses have fans and fly spray. The inside animals slept on the floor all day. When it gets this hot with so many animalsyou have to stay on top of it.
