How Much Time Should A Realtor Spend Meeting with Clients?
How much time should a Realtor spend meeting with clients? It depends. At the first meeting, I spend as much time as they need. That can be an hour to 4 or 5 hours on the first meeting. Time spent is based on the clients’ need to feel comfortable and confident in the person they are hiring. Sometimes clients need to spend more time getting to know their Realtor, especially at the first meeting.
I met the nicest people this weekend who had previously worked with our team. This was the first time we met. Together, we walked their piece of rural real estate. It was such an interesting piece of property. There were many beautiful oak trees. This amazing pomegranate tree was just covered with fruit. We picked some fruit together and sat in the shade looking onto the property. There were so many wild turkeys about, too. What a glorious afternoon.
The clients were very warm and interesting people. I loved hearing about their life. She had very soulful eyes and beautiful long platinum hair. A very interesting conversationalist and an intelligent woman. We both share a love for animals. Her husband is a very nice man and you could see how much he cared for her. The time passed so quickly, four hours went by, and it seemed like time had stood still. My phone kept dinging with messages, but these people were my focus. I returned my calls after.
What I love most about my job is making that genuine connection with people. It is so important for clients to know they matter. Of course, we get paid our business — we are not a non-profit, but getting paid doesn’t mean we don’t care. Quite the opposite; we want every client to feel so important and when we close escrow, they are happy to pay us and feel they received premiere personalized service. That’s how you get 5-star reviews.
I’m so excited to work with this couple. I adore their acreage and will do a top-shelf job for them. How much time should a Realtor spend meeting with clients? As much time as is needed. When I walk out the door, they are satisfied that the time needed to market the property will be invested.

Repair Requests Between Sacramento Realtors
Repair requests between Sacramento Realtors are how the process starts. A buyer’s agent starts the inspection reports for the buyer. Then the reports are reviewed by the buyer and the buyer’s agent. They create what I call a hit list but it is formally called a request for repairs. This request can be as little as smoke detectors to be installed to asking the seller to fix everything in the home inspection request.
The request is sent to the Seller’s agent. It is then reviewed by the seller. The seller is under no obligation to repair anything. In a seller’s market, a buyer would be wise to ask for very little. The negotiations now begin. Repair requests between Sacramento Realtors can make or break an escrow.
If you want to sail through the repair request phase call Weintraub & Wallace Realtors with RE/MAX Gold, to sell your home. We can be reached at 916-233-6759.

Price Reductions: When is the Time Ripe for a Price Reduction?
Today we present an article about price reduction when selling a home. Do you know when is the time ripe for a price reduction? This is an article written by Elizabeth for another publication. Enjoy. –JaCi
My feeling is sellers should price a home right at the get-go and forget about “testing” the market. Those who test the market often end up selling for a lot less after a price reduction than they might have received had they priced it right from the beginning.
Testing the market works only if you get list price. If you don’t get list price within a reasonable period of time, quite frankly, you’re hosed. Because once buyers see a price reduction, they immediately begin to wonder how much lower you will go. It’s just human nature. Is the time ripe for a price reduction on your property?
But before you immediately jump to a price reduction, consider these ten options first. Read more before you consider a Price Reduction.

Do Realtors Ever Sleep?
Do Realtors ever sleep? It often depends on how busy they are. Some nights I have so many ideas that I can not sleep. I just sit at the computer and write away. Clients often call me until about 11 PM. The evenings are the best time often for clients as they are working during the day. For me, the phones quiet down as the banks, title companies, lenders, pest companies are not working after 5 PM.
Now, exercising 30 minutes a day is supposed to help you sleep, so that’s a good goal for October. Whatever you enjoy doing, walking, cycling, cross training, running or Rumba, all are great, just do some form of exercise every day. I often say: do Realtors ever sleep?
If you appreciate a Realtor who is available day or night, call Weintraub & Wallace Realtors with REMAX Gold. Our contact info is 916-233-6759.
