West Sacramento Fireworks And Baseball

West Sacramento Fireworks

West Sacramento fireworks and baseball at Raley Field was a fun place to be on July 3rd. In addition, I was able to spend time with my good friends from “The Sign Post,” Peg and Jim Eggleston. I have known them for about 18 years. Their company puts up most of the real estate for sale signs in over 4 counties. Tonight, I was honored with an invite to their private baseball booth to watch the River Cats. As an added bonus, a rare evening out, combined with watching the famous West Sacramento fireworks, at Raley Field.

Some of the other invited guests were Kaleb Eggleston and his beloved Tran. Some other friends I had not seen in a while, Tina and Ed, it was great to see them too. Everyone had a long day so in the end, we all were longing for sleep. It was a super time enjoyed by all.

Using your Agent Looking For Homes

looking for homes

‘Using your agent for looking at homes,” was written by Elizabeth for another website. Enjoy.

— JaCi Wallace

When a buyer works with a real estate agent, one of the services a good agent provides is to preview homes for the buyer. There is no reason for an agent to waste a buyer’s time by hauling the buyer all over town to look at homes the buyer doesn’t want to buy.

Let an agent pick your brain to find out which amenities are important to you, and which types of homes more closely suit your particular needs. Then use that agent to look at those homes and weed out the ones that are unsuitable. Wouldn’t you rather spend two hours looking at a series of homes that fit exactly what you want instead of traipsing through homes you won’t consider? Who wants to look at two stories with a postage-stamp lot, for example, if your heart is set on a single-level ranch home with a big back yard?

Here are tips about How to Use Your Agent for Looking at Homes.

If you would like to hire agents who take you looking for homes,” call Weintraub & Wallace, with RE/MAX Gold, at 916-233-6759.

Rural Real Estate Pricing Is Anything But Cookie Cutter.

Rural Real Estate

Rural real estate pricing is anything but cookie cutter. There is a wide range of pricing as the country property is mostly custom homes. There is an HOA in one rural real estate subdivision in south county, that feels like a neighborhood. Lot size can vary greatly. There is little price difference between 5-10 acres.

The size of the main home and the number of additional residences and outbuildings has an influence on the final price. Set up for animals on a property has a direct impact on buyers. There is an extensive amount of work and analysis to price properly.

If you want to list or buy real estate call Weintraub & Wallace Realtors, with RE/MAX Gold, at 916-233-6759.

June open houses on Sunday

June Open Houses

June open houses on Sundays can be a bit quieter the weekend before the Fourth of July. Our team holds several open houses on Sundays and today was no exception. Opens were steady in Land Park, Rancho Cordova, Rosemont, Sacramento and Gold River. All were attended with 4-7 visitors except Gold River, this community had well over 35 people through. Buckeye Court was very popular today.

Sundays are often the best days to meet new people and sell real estate. June open houses are always worth the preparation. Our sellers appreciate our efforts as it only takes 1 person to buy a property. An escrow is always entirely possible. So many agents were away today as the visitors told us their agents were out of town today. Our team was right here in Sacramento working away.

If you want to buy or sell a home and want professionally hosted open houses with licensed agents, call Weintraub and Wallace Realtors with RE/MAX Gold, at 916-233-6759.

A Sacramento Dog wins Blue Ribbon in Oklahoma.

Sacramento Dog

A Sacramento dog wins a blue ribbon in Oklahoma, at a dog show. Yes, this Sacramento Realtor’s dog won the dog show, 2 days in a row. He is almost a Champion. His name is Blackjack but I call him Jacks. Just one more major point win next month when he travels to Texas and he is finished. To be crowned as a “Champion Dog” he has to have two major wins plus several 1 points shows. This has been so good for him but has been sorely missed by all my family.

His Aunt Theresa is a Schipperke dog breeder and she lives in Oklahoma. She owns a Champion Schipperke dog that is ranked # 5 in the US, named Cowboy. Jax is doing great visiting with her this year. Who would have thought a Sacramento Dog could win an Oklahoma Dog show? He has been traveling to several states and he has been having a ball. He goes with several dogs to these shows. What a life as gets groomed, stays in nice hotels and takes long naps. Imagine ea that he gets lots of treats. She says he thinks he is a star as he prances all around proudly.

If Jax wins in Dallas he comes home in a few weeks. Of course, he can’t fly if it is too hot. His ribbons are in the photo above.
