How Your REALTOR’s® Reputation Will Affect Your Success
How your Realtor’s reputation will affect your success is not something most agents talk about. When you set out to purchase or sell a Sacramento home, you want a REALTOR who is knowledgeable, who will pay attention to your wants and needs, and who will work hard for you. You might not give much thought to your REALTOR’s® reputation among agents and others who serve the real estate industry.
The truth is, your REALTOR’s® reputation will play a big part in the success of your real estate transaction, from start to finish.
If you’re a buyer, your REALTOR’s® good reputation will get you easier access to the homes you want to tour. When you’ve found the house you want and write an offer, it will give your offer higher consideration in the event of multiple offers.
Why? Because the listing agent will know that the offer has been written correctly, and that your agent will do his or her part to see it to a successful closing. He or she will trust that time-sensitive activities will be carried out on schedule and that you will be kept fully in the know going toward closing.
If your agent’s reputation is poor, your offer will be considered last, because the listing agent will alert the seller to the possibility of problems. Quite often, their buyers have not been properly vetted or their transactions fall apart when some extra effort would have held them together.
If you’re a seller, your REALTOR’s® reputation will affect how often your home is shown. If your listing agent has a poor reputation, buyers’ agents will place your home at the bottom of the list, in hopes that their clients will choose another home before seeing yours.
Why? Because some agents are sloppy about paperwork. They’re lazy in getting all the documents that potential buyers need to see. That would include property condition reports, Homeowner Association Regulations, etc. They also often fail to hold up their end of the work as the transaction proceeds.
When your REALTOR’s® reputation is good, buyers’ agents are eager to show his or her listings, because they know the information that should be there will be presented in a timely fashion. They know that if there’s a problem or if there is re-negotiating to do after an inspection, your agent will present a calm demeanor and work with them to help you and the buyer come to agreement.
In the days or weeks between agreement and closing, many others will be involved with bringing your transaction to closing. Your REALTOR’s® reputation will determine the extent to which they’ll go out of their way to be helpful.
An agent who always returns calls and is friendly, punctual, and willing to work to solve problems will gain far more cooperation than one who is known for the opposite.
We all enjoy working with people who are knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to be around. On the other hand, we tend to avoid those who are rude, lazy, demanding, and generally unpleasant.

Wild Wednesday Real Estate
Wild Wednesday real estate. What a day, as it starts with an office meeting, team meetings, two new listings, rescuing a homeless kitten, negotiating repair requests. Then, communications on listings and escrows, over 200 emails, 35 texts and 15 phone conversations later, it was a crazy Wednesday real estate. This is not a tedious job, lol.
If you want to list or sell a property with Realtors who can ride out the busiest day and still find time to market your property, call Weintraub & Wallace Realtors, at 916-233-6759.

Sacramento May Market Housing Trends 2019
Sacramento May market housing trends 2019 show a continuing seller’s market dominance. There is 18% less inventory than 1 year ago at the same time. With a continuing 1.4 months of inventory with no sign of an inventory increase, The market will continue to squeeze the buyers over the summer. There is no visible trend that inventory is increasing.
Buyers better get realistic on clean offers and doing whatever it takes to win. This is a rude awakening to buyer’s agents. Buyers better get your real estate offer toolbelt on. Sharpen your tool belt and hold on, as it is going to be a rough and wild ride. Buyers who are looking for a deal, it is not going to happen.
Sacramento May Market is now rolling into June and let’s see what it brings. Buyers, stay tuned to this blog for an update soon on what’s to come. This is not a time to try and save a few bucks. This is a time where experience counts and you will need to pull a rabbit out of the hat to win in this competitive environment. Always hire knowledge and a competitive agent who lives to win for her clients and says “BRING IT.”
If you want to buy a house and win in the offer process call Weintraub & Wallace Realtors with RE/MAX Gold, at 916-233-6759.

Garage Trends and Garage Remodels
Garage trends and garage remodels was written previously for another website, by Elizabeth. Having a garage is a big selling point in my experience and they are practical too, especially in cold climates.
Enjoy. — JaCi Wallace
“When I persuaded my husband to buy a Victorian with me in the mid-1990s, it came with a carriage shed. You know, the kind where you put in a buggy that a horse would pull. But we needed a two-car garage. After all, we were living in Minneapolis, where temperatures dip below zero in the winter (and let’s not even talk about windchill). I wanted my vehicle protected from the elements, OK, I said it.
Plus, I wanted a garage door that would open by a remote from inside the home. Not too much to ask, is it? Read more about Garage Trends and Garage Remodels.
So we tore down the shed and built a garage. Building a garage is fairly easy and doesn’t require extensive knowledge of construction, but since I had done my fair share of framing, it was even easier than I imagined. The single largest expense was the slab floor, apron and base of cement block around the perimeter. Although, my husband wasn’t too happy when October (brrrr) rolled around and we were still up on the roof hammering / gluing its ridge shingles in place.
If you are thinking about a garage remodel and are curious about how your home values with or without a garage, call Weintraub & Wallace Realtors with RE/MAX Gold, at 916-233-6759.”
