If you are looking for someone to assist you with your short sale, I would highly recommend Elizabeth Weintraub. We found her on Zillow, and decided to give her a call. Her no-nonsense professionalism was exactly what we were looking for. Our lender, B of A, would not approve the short sale because they didn’t think we had a hardship. Elizabeth refused to give up, it was like a challenge to her, and she just re-submitted until we were approved (of course, B of A made us go into default in order to get the approval, which isn’t surprising for them). We had heard horror stories about the short sale process, but with Elizabeth handling the sale, it just didn’t seem that bad. We know someone who is currently going thru a short sale with a different agent, and they are experiencing issues that we never had to deal with in our short sale (like their agent never responds to e-mails/calls, Elizabeth responds immediately). We are now on the road to rebuilding our credit and starting a new life in Portland, Oregon. Thanks, Elizabeth, and a shout out to Shaundra too!
