The Reason For All of the Sacramento Real Estate Blogs From Weintraub

It takes a team of website pros to update Sacramento Real Estate blogs.

For the past several months I have been more actively involved than I’ve ever wanted to be in the rebuilding and updating of this Sacramento real estate website. It brings me back to Thoreau and simplify, simplify. I would not go so far as to say that I need to experience the unpleasant in order to appreciate the enjoyable, which is part of how Thoreau lived his life, but he does have a good point in that we all tend to get caught up in the gritty details and we allow them to grind us to death.

Simplify, simplify.

Naturally, a website that supports and builds a business is of utmost importance to just about any business person, but it is particularly crucial to real estate in Sacramento. My situation involved the fact my web guy overlooked the fact that I blog every day. Yup, every single day without fail. I can’t think of a day when I have not posted a blog for the past 9 or 10 years. I lose track of time. Writing Sacramento real estate blogs is something I do every morning: it starts my day to reflect on the previous day, to look forward to the fresh new hell that is certain to arise from the existing day, and to try to prepare without too much effort for tomorrow.

As a result, I was not quite prepared for the hoopla that happened after my website guy began rebuilding my site in the middle of June. Around the middle of July, a plug-in update broke my site. It’s happened before. When that unfortunate incident occurs, I generally go to my website host and rollback to my backup version, then I complain to the vendor of the plug-in. My web guy decided instead to upload my newly rebuilt website, since it was just about ready to go live anyway. This meant that he was working from a copy of my website that dated back to the middle of June, and my Sacramento real estate blogs for the past 37 days were missing.

Therefore, any of you who subscribe to my blog via the email function will have already received about 26 emails with blog posts yesterday, and I apologize for that inconvenience. Unless, of course, you’d like to read them again. 🙂 A big bulk of those blogs involved trips to Oregon and Minneapolis for my birthday and over the 4th of July, so they were not necessarily too techy nor real estate related.

With any luck, plus enormously hard work on the part of my website guys, this republishing process should be completed today. Selling homes and my Sacramento real estate blogs continue as normal.
